Preschool is an exciting stage in your child’s development and Next Generation has two wonderful curricula to meet the very specific needs of Preschool 3’s and Preschool 4’s in all aspects of your child’s development: Social, emotional, physical and academic.

Look At Me – I Am Three

Next Generation designed and developed our own Preschool 3 curriculum geared especially to meet the needs of our youngest preschool children. Building on the social skills emphasized in our I Can Do It! Toddler Program, our mascot, Tucker the Turtle, helps our three year-olds learn about problem solving, friendships and healthy bodies. Your child will be immersed in daily language, math and science activities. Look At Me’s proprietary program builds your child’s self-confidence within a group setting, helping them to succeed academically and socially. The program also provides an academic foundation that prepares children for their later learning in the areas of literacy and math, bridging learning to our Preschool 4, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs.

The Little Treasures

Developed by Macmillan/McGraw Hill, Little Treasures is the core program for our 4-year old children. Their inquisitive minds will be challenged with curriculum in all areas including: language, math, science, social studies, music and movement as well as social development.

Little Treasures is a multi-component curriculum developed by MacMillan/McGraw-Hill.  This developmentally appropriate program will progress through themes that begin with each child exploring their identity and then branch out into the world around them.  Within each unit, activities will offer a vast amount of exposure to literacy including:  phonological awareness, print awareness and oral language.  Our program mascot, Derby the Horse, assists teachers in bringing activities to life and by becoming a friend to the children.  Derby also has a number of animal friends that will visit during the school year to talk about special topics that interest the children.
