What kinds of things will they learn?

While each age group will have developmentally appropriate activities planned as a part of their day, our curriculum has common topics between the different programs:  Math, science, exposure to literature (and later writing), open-ended art, music, dramatic play and gross motor activities.  The children have their classroom to explore plus our indoor play spaces as well as the outdoor playgrounds – all providing plenty of room to run or find a place of their own.

Our curriculum goes beyond just academic topics to include a social development aspect as well.  Each age group builds on concepts of self (my body, all about me), health and well-being (tooth brushing, eating healthy, exercise), getting along with friends (conflict resolution, sharing, respect for others), family (all different types) and learning about the world around them (cultural appreciation).  Each of our puppet program mascots will help teachers illustrate these concepts and our teachers are role models for the children.
