Summer Program 2008

The staff at NGCC has developed an ALL NEW Summer Program full of activities and academics both to entertain and to challenge your young child!

NGCC’s Summer Program is for current and new families with children from Pre-K to 7 years participating. Our programs are two week sessions that you can enroll in choosing 2, 3 or 5 day options for the weeks that work for your family.

What sets NGCC Summer program apart from traditional ACA Accredited "Summer Program"?

Weatherproof: rain or shine, our program is prepared with activities for all types of weather!

Air conditioned facilities:Schools are air conditioned and will protect your child from extreme heat and rainy days.

Zero-depth water play: outdoors(weather permitting).

Field trips: Special Program visitors for in-house field trips.

Nutritional food: Breakfast, lunch and 3 snacks provided daily.

Safe and secure environment: with professional teachers that are EEC, FirstAid and CPR Certified.

Fullday program: Open 7 - 6 so no extended day options are needed!

Session 1: Under the Sea
June 30th - July 11th

Diving deep into the sea, children will discover the beauty that the ocean holds. In this session, children will learn about great ocean animals, explore the properties of water and enjoy some great beach fun. How big is a grey whale? What are some of the fish that live in the depths of the ocean? These are just a few of the questions that children will explore!

Session 2: Unsolved Mysteries
July 14th - July 25th

Children will become detectives during this mysterious session. Children will be challenged to discover clues, put them together and solve mysteries. Their success will be dependent upon problem solving and teamwork!Watch out Sherlock Holmes!

Session 3: Creative Minds
July 28th - August 8th

We all have our own hidden creative side. Children will be offered a variety of artistic opportunities to see where their talents lie. Clay sculptures, story book illustrations, self-portraits and pointillism are a few of the unique projects that your child will participate in. Self-expression and taking risks is what this final session is all about. Every child will come out with greater confidence.

Session 4: The FAB Lab
August 11th-August 22nd

This explosive session will WOW every child with hands on science explorations. Your child will put on his/her lab coat and become a real scientist exploring cause and effect relationships. Children will test their hypotheses through a variety of experiments investigating color magic, goop and many more outrageous experiments. Who knew science could be this much fun!
