Infants

We believe learning starts at birth

Infant Program Overview

Our Infant program provides a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for the littlest ones in our care. This specially designed setting, along with our caring teachers, will work cooperatively with you to nurture your baby through all their early stages of development.

We provide continuity of care between your home and our classrooms by partnering with parents and developing a strong understanding of each child’s individual needs.

Our teachers provide age appropriate curriculum for each child’s developmental stage, such as sitting up, crawling, walking, "talking", as well as activities such as art projects, baby sign language, singing songs and opportunities for exploring their world.

Our Infants Classrooms

Our infant classrooms are designed to have everything a care provider would need at their fingertips:  Refrigerator and microwave for food and bottle preparation, separate sleeping area with individual cribs and cubbies to hold your child’s clothes are in every room.

Teachers utilize the latest age-appropriate infant equipment and manipulative toys with your child through out the day.  Weather permitting, teachers will take children out on buggy rides to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.

Keeping your baby’s health & well-being in mind, toys & equipment are sanitized throughout the day and all our infant rooms follow a strict “No Shoe” policy.  Parents are asked to remove or cover their shoes with provided hospital booties to reduce the amount of dirt, salt and germs entering the classrooms.

Parent Communication

Each day the teachers will write a personalized note about your child’s day, including details about naptimes, lunch, diaper changes and any supplies needed.  These notes provide a daily record of your child’s growth and development as the teachers share a snapshot of your baby’s day.

All of our classrooms are equipped with telephones and you are welcome to call at any time of the day to check in and see how your baby is doing or share information too lengthy or private to share during drop-off time.

All Next Generation Children’s Centers have an open door policy.  We welcome and encourage visits from parents – especially breastfeeding mothers – and invite you to visit anytime at your convenience.
