For Full-time Employees

  • Medical Insurance: (effective on the first of the month after 30 days of full time employment) NGCC offers medical insurance through Harvard Pilgrim Health Care for Full Time employees only. This plan is a full coverage comprehensive plan.
  • Dental Insurance: (effective on the first of the month after 60 days of full time employment) NGCC offers dental insurance through MetLife for Full Time employees only. This plan also offers limited eye-wear discount benefits.
  • Vision Insurance: (effective on the first of the month after 60 days of full time employment) NGCC offers a vision plan through EyeMed Vision Care for Full Time employees only. This plan covers eye exams and has generous eyewear discounts.
  • Life Insurance: (effective on the first of the month after 60 days of full time employment) NGCC provides all Full Time employees with a $25,000 Life Insurance Policy at no cost to the employee.
  • Supplemental Voluntary Life and Accident Insurance: NGCC offers the opportunity to purchase supplemental life insurance and accident insurance. These insurances can also be purchased for spouse and children. Employees must be employed with NGCC for 6 months before they are eligible for Voluntary Life and Accident Insurance. Enrollment is in May of each year at the center.
  • Short Term Disability – UNUM: NGCC offers Full Time employees the opportunity to enroll and purchase a Short Term Disability plan that will provide them with replacement income should they become disabled. This plan will pay either 50% or 60% of the gross monthly salary for a period up to 90 days after a 14-day waiting period. Employees must be employed with NGCC for 6 months before they are eligible for Short Term Disability. Enrollment is in May of each year at the center.
  • Employee Assistance Program: NGCC provides an EAP program at no cost to employees. This program provides confidential, 24 hour a day telephone consultation for issues such as stress reduction, mental health and day to day living concerns.
  • 401(k) Plan: NGCC offers a 401K plan for all NGCC employees in which they can contribute a dollar amount or percentage of their salary each week.
  • Educational Assistance: NGCC provides Educational Assistance towards Early Childhood related college courses in the amount of $150 per course, with a maximum of 3 courses/$450 per year.
  • Child Care Discount: NGCC offers a Childcare Discount based on availability and eligibility requirements. This is a limited benefit and may not be available at all times.
  • Referral Bonus Program: NGCC offers up to $500 referral bonus to all employees who refer first-time staff members or first time families to any of our centers. NGCC also provides employees $25 for referring any applicant to interview at any of our centers.
  • Staff Training Days: NGCC provides 2 days of mandatory Staff Development for all full time employees.
  • Leadership Program: NGCC offers a development program for qualified employees who are committed to the company and want to grow professionally within NGCC. Each September key employees attend monthly training programs to learn important topics that will provide them with the skills necessary to take on new roles such as Program Managers, Assistant Directors and Directors.
  • NGCC Scholarship Program: NGCC offers opportunities to earn scholarships or partial scholarships to support all employees in their efforts to continue their education and training.
  • Paid Time Off: Full Time employees will accrue paid days off for each month worked. Employees will start accruing PTO after they have completed the 90 day introductory period.
  • Paid Holidays: NGCC is closed 9 holidays per calendar year.
  • Annual Float: NGCC awards all Full Time employees with one Annual float day each year to be used in that year.
  • Birthday Holiday: All Full Time employees receive a paid day off in his or her Birthday Month!
  • First Aid Training: NGCC requires that all employees become First Aid certified and offers training monthly.
  • BJ’s Membership: Employees can receive a discounted membership to BJ’s Wholesale Club through NGCC.

For Part-time Employees of NGCC

  • Educational Assistance: At the discretion of management, NGCC reimburses part time employees 50%, up to $250, towards the Child Growth and Development course in order to meet EEC requirements.
  • 401(k) Plan: NGCC offers a 401K plan for part time employees in which they can contribute a dollar amount or percentage of their salary each week.
  • Referral Bonus Program: NGCC offers up to $500 referral bonus to both Full Time and Part Time employees who refer first time staff members or first time families to any of our centers. NGCC also provides employees $25 for referring any applicant to interview at any of our centers.
  • Staff Training Days: NGCC provides 2 days of Staff Training that Part Time employees may attend.
  • BJ’s Membership: Part Time employees can receive a discounted membership to BJ’s Wholesale Club through NGCC.
